In pursuit of this vision, Earth Watch Corps mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of these rights.
Our Core Values
Earth Watch Corps forms a global community of people based on the principles of International Solidarity, Effective action for the individual victim, Global coverage, the universality and indivisibility of human rights, impartiality and independence, and democracy and mutual respect.
Our Methods
Earth Watch Corps Addresses Governments, Intergovernmental organizations, Armed political groups, Companies and other non-state actors. Earth Watch Corps seeks to expose denied of justice accurately, quickly and persistently
It systematically and impartially researches the facts of individual cases and patterns of injustice. These findings are publicized, and members, supporters and staff mobilize public pressure on governments and others to stop the abuses.
In addition to its work on specific abuses of human rights, Earth Watch Corps urges all governments and all relevant powers to observe the rule of law, and to ratify and implement human rights standards; it carries out a wide range of human rights educational activities; and it encourages intergovernmental organizations, individuals, and all organs of society to support and respect human rights.
Our Organization
Earth Watch Corps is an organization based on worldwide voluntary membership. And in future it will consist of national branches (sections and structures), international networks, affiliated groups and international members.
Our Statutory Accountability
Statutory authority for the conduct of the affairs of Earth Watch Corps is vested in our Board of Trustees whose primary functions are:
- to focus on strategy;
- to set Earth Watch Corps vision, mission and core values;
- to determine Earth Watch Corps Integrated Strategic Plan including its financial strategy;
- to establish systems and bodies of governance and delegation for the movement, to elect members to those bodies, and to hold those bodies and their members accountable;
- to evaluate the movement’s performance against its agreed strategies and plans;
- To hold national sections, structures and other bodies accountable.
Our Policy
The major ideals and objectives of the Earth Watch Corps general policy statement titled, “Earth Watch Corps Vision and Mission” released in 2010. The following is the text of this policy statement
General Policy Statement
Our motto is Thamasoma Jyothirgamaya. This motto sums up the Earth Watch Corps plans;
Thamasoma Jyothirgamaya also means changing together. It has brought us longer, healthier, and more prosperous lives. But change is not easy, especially in this day and life Add to that our concerns about the environment and climate change about security and about the shifting political and economic balance of power in the world around us. The world is becoming more prosperous, but more people are living in poverty and millions of children are still not going to school, many hundreds of thousands of African children are dying in violent conflict or because there is no money to buy medicines for them. The Earth Watch Corps will continue to make an active contribution to effort to promote the international legal order.
Our aim is for everyone to get a good education and to participate is society to the best of their ability
We aim at forming leader who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated physically healthy and socially acceptable who will champion the cause of Justice, Love, Truth and Peace and who are ever penned to further growth.
We aspire the youth of the 21st century by promoting international brother hood, environmental consciousnesses, gender justice and the source of humanity
We have to reach out to the families, primarily of the activists, to assist them in their needs to share in their joys and sorrow and to help them experience love and freedom so that the activists realize that our organization are an extension of their homes.
We are extremely grateful to the one person for the work he put in to forming this organization. Mr. Abhimanyu, led the forming process of foundation. He worked very hard to make the Earth Watch Corps stronger. It was not an easy task, but he performed it with dedication. The skill and often obvious pleasure with which he did this job free more than years made a deep impression. Thanks are due to him for the commitment and responsibility he demonstrated.
